  • Partners Hielix and ApeniMED Begin Implementation of the Guam HIE

    HIE Implementation will create a Territory-wide Health Information Exchange Infrastructure to assist providers on Guam achieve Meaningful Use. This announcement marks the official start of implementation work for advancing the adoption of electronic health records (EHR) through the creation of an HIE in the United States Territory of Guam.

    "The official start of tactical, on-the-ground work represents a major milestone in the development of the health information exchange in Guam," said Ed Cruz, Chief Information Officer for the Territory. "We are very excited to get the project underway so we can begin improving healthcare outcomes for all of Guam."
